The Chicago Cultural Center was completed in 1897 and dedicated as the city’s original Chicago Public Library. This building was at one time scheduled for demolition. Luckily the Chicago Historical Society saved this great building. The question I have is, who in their right mind would have even considered destroying such a fantastic work of art? Photographing inside the Chicago Cultural Center is a challenge. Many angles and light sources. I am new to photography, and this was my third trip attempting to get a shot I like. I’m still not happy with the results, but I’m getting closer.
