Suspect Arrested, Squad Car Crashes In SW Side Shooting « CBS Chicago
A suspect was arrested Friday night after allegedly shooting at a 43-year-old man on the Southwest Side, police said. A police car was involved in an accident during the arrest.
Three attackers were involved in the 10:30 p.m. attempted shooting in the 6500 block of South Mozart Street, police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said.
Shots were fired at a 43-year-old man, who was not struck, Alfaro said.
Woman Fatally Shot In Chicago Heights « CBS Chicago
A woman was fatally shot Friday night in south suburban Chicago Heights.
Hayley Perlock, 19, was shot at 43 W. 26th St. in Chicago Heights and was pronounced dead at 7:50 p.m. on the scene, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
An autopsy is scheduled for later Saturday, the medical examiner’s office said.
Man shot in face on West Side – Chicago Breaking News
A man was shot in the face and a woman was shot in the hand in the West Humboldt Park neighborhood early this morning.
At 1:56 a.m., a 30-year-old man was with a 31-year-old woman in the 4800 block of West Cortez Street when shots were fired, striking them both, according to a release from police News Affairs.
The man was taken in critical condition to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County. The woman was taken in good condition to Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center.
2 shot in Englewood – Chicago Breaking News
Two people were wounded in a shooting in the South Side Englewood neighborhood early this morning, police said.
About 12:30 a.m., at least two people were shot in the 700 block of West 74th Street, according to police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro.
It was not immediately known the ages or conditions of the victims.
