I have seen several photos and one video that claim that this was the alley where Dillinger was shot. Actually, this is NOT the alley where he was shot…

This building now sits on what was the alley. If we could go about four feet into this building, we would be on the actual spot where John Dillinger met his end.

and just where did you come up with that? the fiesta mexicana used to be a chop suey place in 1934…

So was the fiesta mexicana building added on too, and a portion of the building opposite the alley torn down? Or was the alley just wider than it is now?
That I did not ask. From what I was told, the alley was several feet over.
I talked to the theatre company as well, and they have never heard of that information. Who did you talk to?
I'll check some more, but that is what they told me. By "they" I am talking about several people inside that told me. No names.
Someone gave you bad info, that is the exact alley he was shot in. The alley was not moved.

Bill Smith´s last blog ..Dated April 23- 1934 This is called- The Little Bohemian Lodge Escape Eagle River- Wisconson Definitely one of the worst days for the FBI There were several deaths- including FBI Agents- and an innocent local worker that was mistaken for one of the gangsters When the Johnny Depp movie- Public Enemies was made- they actually went back to the lodge- which is still in business- and filmed the sceen Dillinger would be gunned down by Federal agents in Chicago three months later
