Typical white person that I am, I’m posting this video to show why Obama assumed that Dr. Gates was a victim of white on black racism. As we all soon learned, it was Gates who in fact was guilty of racism, not anyone else.
So what exactly was the lesson we all learned from this last racial public dispute? That racist black people get away with their racism. In the case of Mr. Gates’ arrest, it was Gates that injected race, not the police or the neighbor who called the police. No one mentioned race until Gates verbally assaulted the officer. How this was turned into a racial incident on the part of the officer is rather disgusting. Gates and Obama walked away never apologizing to anyone.
